The Liberties table lamp is part of a new collection, launching at Showcase 2022, and like so many of our lamps, the design and the history of the timber are interwoven. The origins of the timber led us to research the history of the Liberties area in Dublin and the type of lighting used back then. This inspired this new collection which is a nod to the areas history. We use bent copper sheeting and aged fittings to create a beautiful interplay of light and reflection. The timber base grounds the lamp, physically and historically, while the amber tinted bulb emits a gentle luminescence.
